Looking at students through a strengths based lens, Julie gives real world examples with practical strategies to help you help them at home or at school. The core goal of this presentation is increasing the viewers' understanding of the complex profile as a method to achieve the calm that comes with that understanding.

Managing Emotional IntensityLooking at the neuroscience of emotional regulation in gifted brains, this presentation examines the why behind the big emotions that are common in this community. Dr. Matt works through the reflective strategies and practical guideposts adults can use to support co-regulation when working with exceptional children experiencing those big emotions. This helps adults to meet children with empathy and understanding.
